Idaho ID Cards
If you have recently moved to Idaho, you should get your new identification card within 90 days of taking up new residence. You'll be glad to know that the process is almost the same as that of obtaining a driver's license, so you can accomplish both at the same time!
You can apply for an ID card by presenting the following:
- Proof of your residential address
- Proof of your age and identity
If you are under the age of 18, you will also have to provide proof of school enrollment or completion of a high school, or a similar educational facility. If you are 21 or older, you will have the option to renew an ID card every four or eight years.
