Reinstate Suspended License in Virginia
If you need to reinstate your suspended Virginia driver's license, you can do so in a variety of ways. The first step you will need to complete is finding out what obligations you need to fulfill (i.e.: paying court costs, attending traffic school, etc.). The cost to have your license reinstated ranges from $40 to $220. You do not have to appear in-person to prove that you have met these obligations, however, if you need to provide proof of residency, identification, take a road skills test, or present a court order restricting driving privileges, you will need to appear in-person at your local DMV. Note that if you have not complied with Virginia's mandates for reinstatement of a suspended license (i.e.: DUI counseling, child support payments), your driving privileges cannot be reinstated.
